You can purchase individual in-person day tickets, discounted in-person passes week passes, OR you can purchase online week-long passes.

You attend part(s) of the day or stay for the entire day.

1:30 to 3:30:  Kick-off Speaker Kristie Jones

12:15 to 1:15:  Entrepreneur Panel – Getting Your First 100 Customers

This panel will four entrepreneurs who will share how they got their first 10 customers.

1:15 to 1:30:   Break and Challenge Teams Creatred

There is a 15 minute break between sessions where In-Person and online participants form teams of up to four(4) to compete for $2,000. 

The prize will be awarded to the team selected as having done the best job applying Mike’s Hierarchy of Needs first-level (Sales) content to a local company.

Online breakout rooms allow online participants to create virtual teams and compete against their in-person counterparts. 

 

1:30 to 3:30:  Innovation Challenge: Getting the First 100 Customer

The Founder of a local early-stage company selected will present to the participant a problem related to the panel session.

 Teams will have 2 hours to apply the content learned during the day and submit a solution.

The company Founder will evaluate solutions, and winners will be announced on Friday afternoon.

 

3:30 to 3:45:  Break / Networking

 

3:45 to 4:30:  Student Pitch Competition – Regional Round #1

Each day some of the most promising first-time Entrepreneurs from Alberta’s publicly-funded colleges, universities, and polytechnics compete for a cash prize of $2,500 in regional rounds of the Most Promising Student Entrepreneur pitch competitions.

Each day the top person wins $2,500 in cash, and the top two move to the finals on Friday afternoon, where they compete for an additional $17,500 and the chance to win one of three $12,000 US scholarships to the top Entrepreneurship Program in Silicon Valley.

Students will be judged by a panel of some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs.

 

4:30 to 5:00:  Meet the Students or Virtual Networking

Each student who pitches will have their own breakout room where attendants can connect with them to provide feedback, share suggestions or make introductions to people you think they should meet.

Online participants will have 30 minutes in open networking rooms

Wednesday

This panel moderated by Marti Evans, features four VPs of Sales from successful technology companies who will share what how they went beyond their first 100 customers.

3:30 to 3:45:  Break / Networking

Four of high school students compete in a pitch competition that gives away all ticket proceeds from the week-long event, and Friday’s participants pick the winners.

2:15 to 3:15 :  Student Pitch Competition – FINALS

The six finalists from the regional rounds of the student pitch competition pitch to early-stage investors as they compete for an additional $17,500 in cash and the chance to win one of three $12,000 US scholarships to the top Entrepreneurship Program in Silicon Valley.

3:15 to 3:30:  Winners of the innovation challenges and pitch competitions announced
